• When the library does not require the space, the Multi-Purpose Room is made
  available to groups whose aims and goals are in harmony with the library's
  
  
• The room is to be used for meetings, seminars and displays unless approval for any
  other activity is given by the Library Board
  
  
• Maximum occupancy is 50 people
  
  

Room Rental Rates

• Full Rental for organizations and businesses charging an admission fee:
  
  $100.00    for a full day
  $  50.00    for 6 hours or less
  
  
• Half Price Rental for non-profit groups operating with paid staff:
  
  $50.00    for a full day
  $25.00    for 6 hours or less
  
  
• Free of charge:
  
  Departments and committees of the City and Rural Municipality of Portage la Prairie
  Non-profit volunteer organizations
  Groups or individuals pursuing a non-commercial activity
