The Program
- Destiny Quest is the default access point to search the library collection
and to view a patron's information
- Destiny is the traditional library program reached by exiting Destiny Quest
- Destiny Quest and Destiny both perform similar functions
Guests (Non-Members)
- Non-members can access the collection only.
- No other function is available to them in either Destiny Quest or in Destiny
Members (Destiny Quest)
- Select Destiny Quest from the menu on the left hand side of this screen
- Log in - use your user name and password
- Create new account - create a user name and password to log in
- ? - In upper right corner provides a tutorial on how to use Destiny Quest
- My Info - lists holds, items on loan, etc., and allows renewals of material on
loan (except CDA and DVD/VHS)
- Exit Destiny Quest - to go to Destiny (traditional view)
- Open Book - upper left corner - search defaults to material in collection
- Globe - in upper left corner defaults to web sites in WebPath Express
- Find - Enter a search word or phrase to locate material
- Narrow Your Search - choose most appropriate term to organize the results
- Click on a title for the following tasks:
- Hold - to place a reserve on an item
- If the item is out, the patron will be added to the list and called when
the item is returned
- If the item is in, the patron will be called
- The Hold List for IN items will be run in the morning only
- An item with with Ask and No Copies signifies item is On Order; the
patron will be called when the item arrives and is processed for the shelf
- Add to List - for your personal reference
- Make a Wish - to suggest a title to purchase
- Recommend - a title to a friend
- Log out - ALWAYS LOG OUT TO CLOSE YOUR MEMBERSHIP TO
PROTECT YOUR PRIVATE INFORMATION
Members (Destiny)
- Exit Destiny Quest to enter Destiny
- Catalogue Tab:
- ? - in upper right hand corner provides a tutorial for searching the catalogue
- Library Search - defaults to Basic Search, but other search options can be selected
- Search includes websites from WebPath Express
- Select a list before adding a title to your list
- Click on Details behind the title for Hold, Recommend and Wish List functions
- Destiny Quest - to exit Destiny
- WebPath Express - to search for web sites only
- Resource Lists - to view, edit or create multiple lists
- Log Out - ALWAYS LOG OUT TO CLOSE YOUR MEMBERSHIP TO PROTECT

- My Info Tab:
- ? - in upper right corner provides a tutorial on using patron status information
- To check your status regarding items on loan, overdues, status of holds, etc.
- To renew material (other than CDA and DVD/VHS)
